Choose how Locus coaches you.
A pack is a whole coaching method, expressed as the behaviours Locus runs for you — when it speaks, what it reads before it does, and how it talks to you when it does. Activate one and the day changes shape. Six ship with Locus.
What a pack is
Every AI behaviour in Locus is a routine: a plain file with a trigger, the tools it may use, and the instructions it follows. A pack is a set of those files with a point of view — a method, written down, that you can read before you accept it.
Locus's defaults sit underneath. The active pack sits on top of them. Your own edits sit on top of everything.
One at a time.
A pack is a method, not a plugin. Activating one stands in for the last; they never stack, because two coaches talking at once is not a method.
Switching keeps your edits.
Nothing is copied into or removed from your routines folder. Before anything changes, a sheet shows you every routine the pack replaces, adds, or turns off — and every switch in it is yours to overrule.
A pack changes the coach, not the record.
It can change when a routine runs, what it reads, and how it speaks. It cannot change what Locus writes down about you — the portrait stays neutral whichever method you pick.

Packs are meant to travel
Because a pack is just files, it can be shared. You can export your own from the app and import someone else's today. A place to browse, publish and discuss them is what this page becomes next — the methods people actually run are worth more together than apart.
Packs are the layer we deliberately left open, described in the manifesto.
